South Carolina High School Basketball - May River knocks off Bishop England

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) and the visiting Bishop England Battling Bishops (Charleston, SC), observed May River's basketball team overcome Bishop England by a margin of 66-46.

The Sharks (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Seahawks come into the AAAA Region 6 challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Hilton Head Island dropped by Bluffton (Bluffton, SC), 54-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Battling Bishops battle the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a AAAA Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Bishop England will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 60-58 league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC).
