The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bullock Creek Lancers (Midland, MI) and the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI), observed Bullock Creek's basketball team overwhelm Meridian by a score of 57-26.

The Lancers (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Flying G's come into the Jack Pine challenge with a 12-2 record. In their last challenge, Gladwin trounced Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI), 80-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI) in a Jack Pine challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI).
