In Friday's league contest, the visiting Bynum Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Morgan Eagles.
The Bulldogs (17-4) will now prepare for their contest against Avalon (Avalon, TX). The Eagles go into the 1A Region III District 23 contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Avalon nipped Covington (Covington, TX), 37-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Kopperl Eagles (Kopperl, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Morgan will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 8-12 record after their 57-43 league loss to Blum (Blum, TX).
