North Carolina High School Basketball - Camden County routed by First Flight

January 31, 2025: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948

First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC), 76-50 in a league match.

With the victory, First Flight upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Nighthawks host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to face the Aces in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal match on Saturday, February 1. The Aces enter the match with a record of 8-6. Holmes won 75-42 in their recent non-league match against Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC)

The Bruins now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeastern for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal match on Tuesday, February 4. Camden County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 60-54 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 13-2.
