The East Central Hornets basketball team scored 100 points and limited the visiting Canyon Cougars to 60 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 20-11 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 4. East Central will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 79-40 league loss to Clemens (Schertz, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-19.

With the loss, Canyon falls to 12-20 on the campaign. The Cougars host Judson (Converse, TX) to confront the Rockets in a 6A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 14-15. Judson won 65-43 in their recent league game against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX)
