Louisiana High School Basketball - Quitman holds off Castor

The Quitman Wolverines basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host Castor Tigers to 79 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now possess a 20-7 record. They play next when they host Weston for a B District 1 game on Tuesday, February 4. Quitman will confront a Wolves team coming off a 82-43 league loss to Simsboro (Simsboro, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 8-19.
With the loss, Castor falls to 16-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Downsville (Downsville, LA) to confront the Demons in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Demons go into the game with a record of 2-26. Downsville lost 92-41 in their recent league game against Choudrant (Choudrant, LA)
