The Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Sleepy Eye Indians to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 16-2 record. They play next when they host St. James for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Cedar Mountain will confront a Saints team coming off a 87-83 league win over Windom (Windom, MN). The Saints record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Sleepy Eye falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Section 2 game on Monday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 7-11. Lester Prairie lost 97-59 in their recent league game against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
