In their next game, the Cougars battle the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions (Athens, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Waterloo will attempt to better on its 8-18 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 11-18 record after their 59-56 non-league win over Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL).
