The Christian Brothers Purple Wave basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Memphis University School Owls to 39 in the Purple Wave league triumph on Friday.

The Purple Wave now have a 17-5 record. They play next when they host Memphis Home Education Association for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Memphis University School falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Owls host Houston (Germantown, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 19-6. Houston lost 81-65 in their recent league game against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN)
