The Concordia Panthers (Concordia, KS) basketball edged the host Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS), 56-54 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marysville for a North Central Kansas bout on Tuesday, February 4. Concordia will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 51-32 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Clay Center falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Chapman (Chapman, KS) to play the Irish in a North Central Kansas bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Irish go into the bout with a record of 0-13. Chapman lost 66-25 in their recent league bout against Marysville (Marysville, KS)
