In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Climate Justice basketball team scored a big 65-19 triumph over the Esperanza Preparatory Academy Eagles.

The (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wadleigh (New York, NY). The Harlem Hellfighters go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Wadleigh was trounced by School of the Future (Manhattan, NY), 60-38, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Columbia (New York, NY) in a PSAL 1A Manhattan III contest, on Monday, February 3. Esperanza Preparatory Academy will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record.
