Next, the Cardinals clash with the Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 17-8 record after their 56-55 league win over Edna (Edna, TX).

The Raiders (19-7) will now prepare for their test against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region IV District 25 test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Tidehaven overcame Palacios (Palacios, TX), 59-42, in a league test.
