The Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Lakers (St. Joseph, MI) basketball toppled the host Countryside Academy Cougar (Benton Harbor, MI), 53-35 in Friday's league bout.

The Lakers now possess a 5-10 record. They play next when they host New Buffalo for a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White bout on Tuesday, February 4. Our Lady of the Lake Catholic will play a Bison team coming off a 51-46 league loss to Eau Claire (Eau Claire, MI). The Bison record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Countryside Academy falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Cougar travel to West Michigan Lutheran (Wyoming, MI) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1.
