Michigan High School Basketball - L'Anse Creuse toppled by Cousino

Cousino Patriots (Warren, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI), 83-66 in a league match.

With the victory, Cousino advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Patriots host South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Monday, February 3. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 12-6. South Lake won 67-31 in their recent league match against Marine City (Marine City, MI)

The Lancers now own a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grosse Pointe North for a Macomb Area - Blue match on Thursday, February 6. L'Anse Creuse will face a Norsemen squad coming off a 54-42 league win over Fraser (Fraser, MI). The Norsemen record now stands at 12-4.
