The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Ridge Wolves (Blountville, TN) and the visiting Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN), observed West Ridge's basketball team overcome Daniel Boone by a score of 68-52.

The Wolves (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Science Hill (Johnson City, TN). The Hilltoppers come into the 4A District 1 challenge with a 17-6 record. In their last challenge, Science Hill dropped by Greeneville (Greeneville, TN), 51-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trailblazers battle the Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Daniel Boone will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 17-8 record after their 60-54 league loss to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN).
