The Stevens Point Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host D.C. Everest Evergreens to 44 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Wausau East for a Wisconsin Valley game on Monday, February 3. Stevens Point will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 50-45 league loss to Marshfield (Marshfield, WI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, D.C. Everest falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Evergreens host Mosinee (Mosinee, WI) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Indians go into the game with a record of 13-5. Mosinee won 62-59 in their recent league game against Medford (Medford, WI)
