In Friday's non-league contest, the host Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles basketball team scored a good 77-57 triumph over the Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs.
The Eagles (19-3) will now prepare for their contest against Varnum (Seminole, OK). The Whippets go into the non-league contest with a 19-1 record. In their last contest, Varnum topped Strother (Seminole, OK), 66-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Broncs battle the Boise City Wildcats (Boise City, OK) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Kremlin-Hillsdale will attempt to better on its 9-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 62-41 non-league win over Tyrone (Tyrone, OK).
