The DeLaSalle Islanders basketball team scored 79 points and limited the visiting Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks to 58 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Islanders now have a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Richfield for a AAA Section 6 game on Tuesday, February 4. DeLaSalle will confront a Spartans team coming off a 112-89 league win over Fridley (Fridley, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Robbinsdale Cooper falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Hawks host Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN) to confront the Hylanders in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Hylanders go into the game with a record of 2-15. Columbia Heights lost 82-78 in their recent league game against St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN)
