The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the General Trass Panthers (Lake Providence, LA) and the visiting Delta Charter Storm (Ferriday, LA), observed General Trass's basketball team overcome Delta Charter by a margin of 65-53.

The Panthers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Block (Jonesville, LA). The Bears come into the 1A District 2 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Block defeated Delhi (Delhi, LA), 54-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Storm battle the St. Frederick Warriors (Monroe, LA) in a 1A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Delta Charter will attempt to better on its 2-17 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 16-10 record after their 58-55 league win over Tensas (St. Joseph, LA).
