Washington High School Basketball - DeSales holds off Sunnyside Christian

The DeSales Irish basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Sunnyside Christian Knights to 60 in the Irish league triumph on Friday.

The Irish now have a 18-1 record. They play next when they travel to Touchet for a 1B Southeast Grape game on Saturday, February 1. DeSales will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 50-25 league loss to Yakama Nation Tribal (Toppenish, WA). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-14.

With the loss, Sunnyside Christian falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Walla Walla Valley Academy (College Place, WA) to confront the Knights in a 1B Southeast Grape game on Saturday, February 1. The Knights go into the game with a record of 7-10. Walla Walla Valley Academy lost 53-40 in their recent league game against Liberty Christian (Richland, WA)
