The Douglas Trojans were victorious over the host South Umpqua Lancers basketball squad by a final score of 44-28 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Siuslaw Vikings (Florence, OR) in a 3A Far West outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 13-6 record after their 63-25 league win over Glide (Glide, OR).
The Lancers (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Coquille (Coquille, OR). The Red Devils enter the 3A Far West outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Coquille was defeated by Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 49-38, in a league outing.
