In Friday's league contest, the visiting Early County Bobcats basketball team scored a big 79-28 triumph over the Stewart County Royal Knights .

The Bobcats (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians go into the A D2 Region 1 contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Seminole County smashed Mitchell County (Camilla, GA), 59-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Royal Knights battle the Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 contest, on Saturday, February 1. Stewart County will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 6-14 record after their 50-21 non-league win over Baker County (Newton, GA).
