With the victory, South Columbus advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Stallions travel to East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Monday, February 3. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 7-10. East Bladen won 53-52 in their recent league battle against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC)

The Gators now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Columbus for a 1A/2A Waccamaw battle on Monday, February 3. East Columbus will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 65-56 league loss to Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-13.
