The East Hamilton Hurricanes (Ooltewah, TN) basketball crushed the visiting Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN), 66-38 in Friday's league bout.

The Hurricanes now possess a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Soddy Daisy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. East Hamilton will play a Trojans team coming off a 66-44 league loss to Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-6.

With the loss, Ooltewah falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Owls host McMinn County (Athens, TN) to play the Cherokees in a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. The Cherokees go into the bout with a record of 12-10. McMinn County won 65-46 in their recent league bout against Rhea County (Evensville, TN)
