West Virginia High School Basketball - Petersburg holds off East Hardy

The Petersburg Vikings basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host East Hardy Cougars to 49 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now possess a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Philip Barbour for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Petersburg will confront a Colts team coming off a 78-56 league loss to Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Colts record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, East Hardy falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Union (Mount Storm, WV) to confront the Tigers in a Potomac Valley A game on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 5-5. Union lost 47-46 in their recent non-league game against Highland (Monterey, VA)
