With the victory, East Newton advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Patriots host Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO) to meet the Mountaineers in a Big 8 battle on Friday, February 7. The Mountaineers enter the battle with a record of 9-8.
