Virginia High School Basketball - Turner Ashby defeats East Rockingham

The Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting East Rockingham Eagles (Elkton, VA), 73-62 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Harrisonburg for a Valley bout on Tuesday, February 4. Turner Ashby will play a Blue Streaks team coming off a 75-48 league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, East Rockingham falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to play the Dragons in a Valley bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 15-2.
