Wyoming High School Basketball - East nips Laramie

In Friday's league contest, the host East Thunderbirds basketball team scored a close 68-64 win over the Laramie Plainsmen.

The Thunderbirds (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sheridan (Sheridan, WY). The Broncs come into the 4A East contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Sheridan edged Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY), 66-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Plainsmen battle the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) in a 4A East contest, on Saturday, February 8. Laramie will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Bolts come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 66-50 league loss to Sheridan (Sheridan, WY).
