North Carolina High School Basketball - East Wake Academy overwhelmed by Wake Prep Academy

In Friday's league test, the Wake Prep Academy Guardians (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), by a score of 65-44.

Next, the Guardians encounter the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a 1A/2A Super Six test, on Tuesday, February 4. Wake Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 19-2 season record. The Firebirds come into the test with a 5-13 record after their 58-46 league win over Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC).

The Eagles (3-12) will now prepare for their test against NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC). The Unicorns come into the 1A/2A Super Six test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, NCSSM: Durham bounced Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC), 61-59, in a league test.
