The Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) basketball toppled the visiting Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA), 56-46 in Friday's league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crystal Springs Uplands for a West Bay bout on Tuesday, February 4. Eastside College Prep will play a Gryphons team coming off a 76-47 league win over Harker (San Jose, CA). The Gryphons record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Pinewood falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Drew (San Francisco, CA) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Drew won 62-40 in their recent league bout against Jewish Community (San Francisco, CA)
