Illinois High School Basketball - Edwards County crushes Wayne City

The Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL), 64-42 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield for a Black Diamond - East bout on Saturday, February 1. Edwards County will play a Mules team coming off a 55-30 non-league win over Cisne (Cisne, IL). The Mules record now stands at 11-10.

With the loss, Wayne City falls to 7-13 on the year. The Indians travel to Johnston City (Johnston City, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league outing on Saturday, February 1. The Indians enter the outing with a record of 6-12. Johnston City lost 57-47 in their recent non-league outing against Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL)
