Texas High School Basketball - Ennis bests Midlothian Heritage

January 31, 2025: Midlothian, TX 76065

The Ennis Lions basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Midlothian Heritage Jaguars to 57 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now possess a 13-18 record. They play next when they host Corsicana for a 5A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 4. Ennis will play a Tigers team coming off a 76-31 league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 9-19.

With the loss, Midlothian Heritage falls to 17-15 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX) to play the Lions in a 5A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Lions go into the game with a record of 8-18. Kaufman won 66-38 in their recent league game against Terrell (Terrell, TX)
