The Eula Pirates basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Ranger Bulldogs to 36 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 15-16 record. They play next when they host Strawn for a 1A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, February 4. Eula will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 70-14 league win over Moran (Moran, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Ranger falls to 2-18 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Gordon (Gordon, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 1A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Longhorns go into the game with a record of 14-3. Gordon won 75-17 in their recent league game against Baird (Baird, TX)
