The Fort Bend Elkins Knights basketball squad (Missouri City, TX), lost 49-39 in Friday's league battle with the host Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX)

With the victory, Fort Bend Clements advances its record to 16-10 on the year. The Rangers travel to Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 27-2. Fort Bend Travis won 87-50 in their recent league battle against Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX)

The Knights now own a 11-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Hightower for a 6A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Fort Bend Elkins will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 77-58 league loss to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 15-15.
