Montana High School Basketball - Fort Benton triumphant over North Star

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Fort Benton Longhorns (Fort Benton, MT) and the host North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT), observed Fort Benton's basketball team overwhelm North Star by a score of 67-42.

The Longhorns (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Conrad (Conrad, MT). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Conrad was routed by Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT), 56-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Highwood Mountaineers (Highwood, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. North Star will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 66-53 league win over Great Falls Central Catholic (Great Falls, MT).
