The Sheffield Knights basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Freedom Prep Academy Eagles to 38 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Bluff City for a 2A District 16 game on Tuesday, February 4. Sheffield will confront a Gray Wolves team coming off a 87-71 league loss to Mitchell (Memphis, TN). The Gray Wolves record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Freedom Prep Academy falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wooddale (Memphis, TN) to confront the Cardinals in a 2A District 16 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 10-8. Wooddale lost 70-63 in their recent league game against Fairley (Memphis, TN)
