The Freehold Boro Colonials basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Long Branch Green Wave to 51 in the Colonials non-league triumph on Friday.

The Colonials now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Wildwood Catholic for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Freehold Boro will play a Crusaders team coming off a 63-48 league loss to St. Joseph (Hammonton, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-6.

With the loss, Long Branch falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Green wave host Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 13-3.
