Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ), 58-50 in a league match.

With the victory, Freehold Township upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Patriots travel to Allentown (Allentown, NJ) to face the Redbirds in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Redbirds enter the match with a record of 3-12.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ranney for a non-league match on Monday, February 3.
