The Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) basketball smashed the host Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), 80-31 in Friday's league match.

The Flyers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rossford for a Northern Buckeye match on Tuesday, February 4. Lake will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 78-40 league loss to Otsego (Tontogany, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-15.
