Illinois High School Basketball - Hinsdale Central holds off Glenbard West

January 31, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137

The Hinsdale Central Red Devils basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Glenbard West Hilltoppers to 51 in the Red Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Red Devils now possess a 23-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Hinsdale Central will confront a Hawks team coming off a 55-23 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 10-13.

With the loss, Glenbard West falls to 16-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Titans go into the game with a record of 14-10. Glenbrook South lost 53-41 in their recent non-league game against De Smet Jesuit (St. Louis, MO)
