In Friday's non-league contest, the host Melrose Buffaloes basketball team scored a big 76-42 triumph over the Grady Bronchos.
The Buffaloes (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Elida (Elida, NM). The Tigers go into the A District 4 contest with a 7-9 record.
