New York High School Basketball - Grand Island overwhelms Western New York Maritime Charter

The Grand Island Vikings basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores to 44 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.
The Vikings (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lewiston-Porter (Youngstown, NY). The Lancers come into the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Lewiston-Porter smashed Buffalo Academy of Science (Buffalo, NY), 57-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Commodores battle the Olmsted Owls (Buffalo, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Western New York Maritime Charter will attempt to better on its 0-15 season record.
