California High School Basketball - Grant overwhelms Monroe

January 31, 2025: Van Nuys, CA 91401

The Grant Lancers basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Monroe Vikings to 23 in the Lancers league triumph on Friday.

The Lancers now have a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Providence for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Grant will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 56-55 league loss to Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Monroe falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to San Fernando Valley Academy (Northridge, CA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 7-7. San Fernando Valley Academy won 106-16 in their recent non-league game against Bridges Academy (Studio City, CA)
