The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Graves County Eagles (Mayfield, KY), observed Marshall County's basketball team overcome Graves County by a margin of 63-52.

The Marshals (22-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Murray (Murray, KY). The Tigers come into the District 4 challenge with a 7-15 record. In their last challenge, Murray dropped by Calloway County (Murray, KY), 63-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) in a District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Graves County will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 70-62 non-league win over Livingston Central (Smithland, KY).
