The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX) and the host Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX), observed Martin's basketball team knock off Haltom by a score of 53-40.

The Warriors (20-12) will now prepare for their challenge against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors come into the 6A Region I District 8 challenge with a 19-12 record. In their last challenge, South Grand Prairie dropped by Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX), 58-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Buffalos encounter the Bowie Volunteers (Arlington, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Haltom will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record.
