Tennessee High School Basketball - Heritage knocks off South-Doyle

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Heritage Mountaineers (Maryville, TN) and the visiting South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN), observed Heritage's basketball team overcome South-Doyle by a margin of 71-56.
The Mountaineers (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN). The Smoky Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Sevier County defeated Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN), 59-37, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cherokees battle the Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South-Doyle will attempt to better on its 5-16 season record.
