The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) and the visiting Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), observed Panhandle's basketball team overwhelm Highland Park by a score of 67-35.

The Panthers (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Memphis (Memphis, TX). The Cyclones come into the 2A Region I District 2 challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Memphis was routed by Clarendon (Clarendon, TX), 64-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX) in a 2A Region I District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Highland Park will attempt to improve on its 9-17 season record.
