New Mexico High School Basketball - Valencia tipped by Highland

In Friday's league test, the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) basketball squad got by the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), by a score of 68-66.

Next, the Hornets clash with the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Highland will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Sartans come into the test with a 15-5 record after their 75-44 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).

The Jaguars (8-12) will now prepare for their test against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles come into the 4A District 5 test with a 9-11 record. In their last test, Belen was nipped by Grants (Grants, NM), 64-61, in a league test.
