Connecticut High School Basketball - Hillhouse thwarts West Haven

January 31, 2025: West Haven, CT 06516

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT) and the host West Haven Blue Devils (West Haven, CT), observed Hillhouse's basketball team knock off West Haven by a score of 59-50.

The Academics (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks come into the Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset challenge with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. West Haven will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 68-53 league win over Windham (Willimantic, CT).
