In Friday's league contest, the host Hood River Valley Eagles basketball team scored a good 72-63 triumph over the Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts Mustangs.
The Eagles (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Wilsonville (Wilsonville, OR). The Wildcats go into the 5A Northwest Oregon contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Wilsonville topped La Salle (Milwaukie, OR), 78-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Putnam Kingsmen (Milwaukie, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts will attempt to better on its 1-14 season record. The Kingsmen go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 54-39 league win over Parkrose (Portland, OR).
